The Center for Latin American Studies (CLAS) sponsors visas and privileges at Stanford University Libraries for senior scholars conducting research on Latin America. Over the years, CLAS has hosted visitors from Europe, Latin America, and the US. Visiting scholar appointments do not include financial assistance and Bolívar House offices are only available as space allows. Individuals who wish to apply for visiting scholar status should email CLAS. Inquiries and applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year.
